These terms and conditions apply to all use of our website (www.thecrabandlobsterfishshack.co.uk), reservations made through our site or third-party partners, and the purchase of any gift cards. By using our website or making a booking or purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully and contact us if you have any questions.
Gift Card Terms
The Crab & Lobster Fish Shack offers gift cards both as monetary amounts and experience vouchers. These terms apply to all gift cards sold via our website or in person:
- Gift cards may be redeemed as full or part payment for meals or drinks at our restaurant.
- Cards are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase unless otherwise specified.
- Gift cards are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not redeemable for cash.
- Gift cards must be presented at the time of payment.
- Possession of a gift card does not guarantee availability. Please book early and mention the gift card when reserving.
- Risk transfers to the customer upon receipt (physical or digital). We are not responsible for lost or stolen cards.
- Cards may be sent digitally by email or as physical versions by Royal Mail. Estimated delivery is 2–3 working days, though this may vary, especially during the festive season.
- Gift cards are generally valid year-round; however, we reserve the right to introduce temporary exclusion dates or booking restrictions without prior notice, especially during peak trading periods or special events.
- Cards must not be resold or used in commercial promotions without permission.
- The cancellation of a gift card does not affect your statutory rights.
Reservation Terms
You may book a table at The Crab & Lobster Fish Shack using our online booking partner Quandoo or by contacting the restaurant directly.
- Please arrive on time for your booking to ensure the best experience.
- If you are running late, contact the restaurant as soon as possible.
- Tables may be held for up to 15 minutes past the booking time, after which the table may be released without further notice.
- Bookings of 6 people or greater may require a £10 per person deposit (refundable with at least 48 hours’ notice of cancellation or change).
- Debit or credit card details may be required to secure your booking. These will only be charged in the event of a no-show, a late cancellation or a reduction in numbers without prior notice.
- If you have a gift card or voucher, please inform the team at the time of booking.
- We reserve the right to cancel or amend bookings where necessary, and will always aim to offer an alternative date if this occurs.
Please note: The restaurant will be closed from 24th December 2025 to 7th January 2026 inclusive. No reservations will be available during this period.

Online Supply of Goods

Contract Formation
- By placing an order, you make an offer to purchase which we may accept or reject.
- A contract is formed only when you receive a confirmation email from us.
Pricing & Payment
- Prices include VAT but exclude delivery charges.
- We do our best to ensure prices are correct but reserve the right to amend them.
- Payment is processed securely via third party providers (e.g. SmartGift). We do not store your card details.
Delivery
- Physical goods will be delivered as outlined on the website, usually within 30 days.
- Delays outside our control (e.g. postal strikes) will be communicated to you.
Returns & Refunds
- You may cancel a purchase within 14 days of receipt.
- To qualify for a refund, goods must be returned unused and in original condition.
- Refunds will be processed within 14 days of return.
- Faulty or incorrect items will be refunded, including return postage costs.
Data Protection
Personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Data collected for reservations or purchases may be shared with third party partners (e.g. Quandoo, SmartGift) to fulfil services.
Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use our website:
